Intro

Hi Golden Beam Collective!

I'm so excited for all of us to collaborate together to create a useful archive of not only our own work post-grad, but also readings, references, and images. I thought I would explain a little how I set up our blog for now, but I think it might be a trial and error process until we figure out the best format.


I've divided our content into the below categories, which can be found in the side bar of the site. In order for the posts to appear on their appropriate pages, they must be labeled as indicated.

• Monthly Shares (label: monthly) 
• Textile Texts (label: text) 
• Inspiration Images (label: inspo) 
• Resources (label: resource) 
• I think this page can be used for things like yarn/supply vendors' websites, useful inspiration websites, digital versions of weaving/knitting drafts and dye recipes
• Also, I put this post under this category so we can reference the labels for each category

The "labels" aspect of blogger is really helpful for sifting through the site for a specific post (unlike Facebook) -- in addition to the labels for the four categories above, we should label posts with names, locations, the medium, or anything else you think would be helpful in case you want to find the post again in the future.
